David
Cassidy

Born 04/12/1950 in New York, NY
The son of the late actor Jack Cassidy,
David Cassidy became a teen idol overnight as Keith Partridge from the hit '70s TV series.
He launched his singing career as the lead vocal of a fictional family group (featuring
his real-life stepmother, Shirley Jones), which gave him instant fame and success.
Although he had a half-dozen US and UK top
40 hits, his career began to fizzle by the mid '70s and he devoted the late '70s and early
'80s to acting. Since the mid-'80s, Cassidy's musical efforts have begun to show
commercial results, with modest chart success in England and America. From
