Garden Creative self which needs attending. From - Dream Dictionary. Most commonly used as a reference to the Garden of Eden, a garden is typically an earthly paradise. It was created by God as a safe enclosure for Adam and Eve; the enclosed garden is a symbol of the Virgin Mary in the Christian tradition. It is an archetypal image of the soul, of innocence, of happiness; it is a place for growth of the inner Self. Information taken from: Online Symbolism Dictionary Paradise; the Fields of the Blessed; the 'better country'; the abode of souls. The Gardener is the Creator and in the centre of the garden grows the life-giving Tree, fruit, or flower, the reward of him who finds the centre. The garden is also the symbol of the soul and the qualities cultivated in it and of tamed and ordered nature. Enclosed gardens are the feminine, protective principle; they also represent virginity.
