Geographical Geographical places sometimes carry specific concepts based on the known information and/or reputation of that locale. They can also convey a more abstract feeling of atmosphere due to climate, history, and the peoples that reside there. Food for thought would include: placement (is the location north, south, east or west?); what are the economic conditions; what is the prevailing language, religion and landscape; and is the place known for or as anything in particular (ex. New York = The Big Apple).
