Silver

When opposed with gold (masculine), Silver is usually feminine. Silver often represents the moon, virginity, purity, the queen. The culmination of these symbols can be seen in the Greek goddess Artemis, twin sister of Apollo, the sun god. She was one of the few virgin goddesses, the moon was her symbol, and she hunted with silver bow and arrows. From: Online Symbolism Dictionary
